Will Scott Wins Award in IndieFEST Film Awards

– Will Scott, of Fly Debate, has won a prestigious Award of Merit from the IndieFEST Film Awards. The award was given for Will Scott’s exciting short, The 27 Club, which (purpose of production). The 27 Club features the exceptional performances of Shaina Hammer, Edward Jackson, Angelo Valentin and Bryant Ramsey

“Winning an IndieFEST award was the capstone of a very busy year for Fly Debate Productions. The driving force behind “The 27 Club” was to tell a story that captures the all too common struggle of having to make hard life choices while pondering the lure of a seemingly “easier” solution that in the end poses an even riskier outcome. Our goal is to simply inspire the masses to delve further into the plight of the human condition.

The IndieFEST Film Awards recognizes film, television, videography and new media professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment or contribute to profound social change.
